Support Assist is worthless, just uninstall it. If you can. I recommend doing a clean windows install with none of the Dell bloat. Dell does not bloat it up that bad really....and re-installing Windows just to get rid of Support Assist is kind of silly.
Do I really need Dell SupportAssist?You don’t need it and it can cause problems. If you ever want to use it in the future, Dell Downloads and Drivers will reinstall it to scan your computer or you can install it manually. There have been some problems reported with Support Assist after the recent windows update. Is it OK to uninstall Dell SupportAssist?
