WEBGenerally, scattering is a complex problem. However, in many cases it allows the so-called Born approximation, 14 in which scattered wave field’s effect on the scattering object is assumed to be much weaker than that of the incident wave, and is neglected. Fig. 8.4. Scattering (schematically).
